Post Human, or Just something I thought of...

As you ascend, it isn’t straight up. The currents catch your naked limbs, and you twist and curve fighting against wind and atmosphere, and the sky is Van Gough’s Starry Night; and the hands of God and all it’s Angels are reaching down to help you up. You stop to dance on the clouds, tippy toes and balls of feet caressing nothing but moisture that is barely there. One more bounce and then the sky shinning, the song of creation lying to you. You want it to be forever, you’re spiraling up, tears streaking. A human comet arms outstretched toward Heavens and eternity towards some semblance of understanding.

Ba boom.

On the operating table Joseph’s heart just stopped, the anesthesiologist rips the drapes off of Joseph and begins chest compressions. The room goes ape shit, nurses frantic, calling a code. Ten bodies file in taking orders, running in crash carts and surgical equipment. The Surgeon still scrubbed in, hands folded across his chest saying “Live Joseph! Live godamnit!”

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Flat line

The light turns into streaks; you look down and see yourself, tubes in your mouth, everyone wearing powder blue, and masks. But that light it fades, and you accelerate, the universe is a chorus of voices, the sky is littered with points of light. Exact destinies winking in and out of existence, possibility is an engine running at the speed of thought, and the speed of the impossible becoming something real and tacit.

You are everything. And some thoughts clarify some just fade away. Like tangents and the feel of melting into a girl naked, sensations feeding the fever for one another, half remembered sensations thoughts swirling. Eyes open and the starry night gives way to the dawn and the glory of ethers it's so bright you can see every photon moving if you try. Everything is orange, brown, red, and whiteish yellow, the clouds are vast and open for you. That yellow sun, that yellow light is calling to you in tones you barely comprehend. And you remember them; every doxy, every nymph, every kiss you shared, every utter defeat and heart break you met. Every bad thing and betrayal and you weep with joy and shame and wish there were more more more!

Static.

Voices cried out all around Joseph the seconds tick by, they start pushing blood but he's losing it so fast, the surgeon steps back in to try and cauterize the bleeders. Another cooler full of blood is brought in, sponges opened, gauze being opened. The operating room is a chorus of chaos, a whirlwind with one collective thought, “SAVE HIM!” It came in waves even though the creature on the table was somewhere so far away. And would stay there, he wasn’t coming back Joseph took that next step. Pulmonary Embolism there is nothing anyone could do it happened so fast. The Anesthesiologist checked his eyes. No response plus blood. Joseph was dead. The O.R. staff hung their heads low… Silence, anger boiling. But some felt Joseph leave and couldn’t mourn for a soul going to the place we will all eventually end up.

You touched the light, the life it had in it was amazing, it was everywhere throughout the entire universe fucking, freaking, itself into existence. Dying turned to life it wasn’t a different side of the same coin, it was exactly the same thing. It was like blinking, light, dark, light, dark, it was a code. And the tendrils of light caress you, and it isn’t just love you feel. It is purpose, the collective is, and will be, even if earth died, life is everywhere permeating through out the void, in the void, existing always existing. Something some where always breeds and bleeds. Extinction is just a concept you can think about it all day long but one day you will end up -

- Gone.
